We are connected in many ways to other people and lands around the world.
Over the years, Cleveland Metroparks and Parque Metropolitano have met to build ideas for joint projects and to reinforce the intercontinental partnership. One such project involves Cleveland Metroparks Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. Like Panama's famous canal, the focus of Cleveland Metroparks Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation is the historic Ohio & Erie Canal. A new Canal-to-Canal project is underway. Twin exhibits showing migration patterns of migratory songbirds from Panama Canal to Ohio & Erie Canal will be erected in the parks in both countries creating a biological link.
