Cleveland Metroparks naturalists and historical interpreters offer free
programs and activities throughout the year for all ages, interests and
ability levels. Cleveland Metroparks nature centers are open daily and
naturalists are available to answer questions and to provide information
on programs, activities and group programs and the natural events that mark each season.

The Institute of the Great Outdoors (IGO) is Cleveland Metroparks focal
point for outdoor recreation learning and experiences. IGO offers
outdoor recreation instruction and fosters an understanding of the
environment.

Nature Tracks brings the parks to the people year-round by presenting
programs to schools, youth organizations and groups that might not
otherwise have access to Park District facilities.

Originally the headquarters of the Cleveland Natural Science Club, Look About Lodge in South Chagrin Reservation was built in the late 1930s by the federally-funded Works progress Administration (WPA). The building is only open for scheduled programs.

The Floating Water Lab serves as a gateway to better understanding and appreciation of the interconnections of a lake ecosystem. The Floating Water Lab located at Hinckley Lake offers naturalist-led programs for groups 5th grade to adult.
