“DOG PADDLE & MORE!”

Celebrate the dog days of summer by bringing your four-legged friends to do the doggy-paddle at Cleveland Metroparks Ledge Pool.

Join Cleveland Metroparks for the annual “Dog Paddle & More!” event on Sunday, August 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Ledge Pool & Recreation Area in Hinckley Reservation in Hinckley Township.

Visitors can bring their non-aggressive dogs to swim at Ledge Pool for a nominal donation that benefits the local animal shelter and Medina County SPCA.  There is a dog fair, too - featuring dog groomers, dog bakeries, pet therapy, an agility course by Medina Swarm, and more!  Pets and their parents can enjoy a dog walk and Cleveland Metroparks K-9 Unit will be on hand with animal safety demonstrations.

The cost of pool admission is a $3 donation per dog (benefiting the Medina County SPCA). Dogs and their humans can also enjoy treat sales, a dog walk at 3 p.m. around the area, and more!

Ledge Pool & Recreation Area is located at 1151 Ledge Road, between State and Kellogg roads in Hinckley Reservation in Hinckley Township.

For more information, call 330-239-2911 or 216-635-3200.

Bring man’s best friend for a swim at the “Dog Paddle & More!” event in Cleveland Metroparks – part of your life, naturally.
