"NATURE AT NIGHT"
Night time is the right time for a little shut eye, unless you’re a nocturnal animal.
Experience the park after dark, and discover the night life at Cleveland Metroparks “Nature at Night” event.
The free “Nature at Night” event celebrates the beauty of the night and all the nocturnal residents. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities related to the night, including live nocturnal animal programs, astronomy and stargazing through telescopes, songs and stories around a roaring campfire, children’s crafts, and night stations.
Nighttime revelers can enjoy the ‘nighttime animal’ maze, night insect discovery area, special natural history presentations, and more! Visitors can also browse the great merchandise selections of EarthWords Nature Shops, and enjoy the refreshment area.

The Museum of Natural History had to close for some renovations and some of the museum pieces had to move to the federal storage at the famous Washington Museums. The centre piece of the film will be bringing to life the Smithsonian Institution, which houses the world’s largest museum complex with more than 136 million items in its collections, ranging from the plane Amelia Earhart flew on her non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic and Al Capone’s rap sheet and mug shot, to Dorothy’s ruby red slippers, Fonzie’s jacket from ‘Happy Days,’ Archie Bunker’s lounge chair from ‘All in the Family,’ and an evil Pharaoh comes to life.”
