Photography Exhibit
Images taken by the Hubble, Chandra, and the Spitzer orbiting telescopes combine each of their individual capabilities to create spectacular views of our sublime universe. Planets, nebulas, galaxies, and stars dance before the eyes in time and space in a way mankind has never before been able to see these orbital platforms. Delight in these images printed to large size on canvas and other media by photographer Paul A. Leverington. On display through July 31.

Birds and Bugs
The forests, grasslands, and riparian corridor of West Creek provide a refuge for nearly 50 species of nesting birds, including spotted sandpiper, belted kingfisher and Baltimore oriole. Join Naturalist Jen Brumfield as we seek out kingbirds, bluebirds, buntings, and other colorful songbirds on breeding territories. We'll keep an eye out for the horde of multi-colored butterflies and dragonflies inhabiting the park. Binoculars recommended.

Take That! A Photographer's Guide to West Creek
Calling all photographers: let this naturalist be your guide to having your photos identified! Join Naturalist Jen Brumfield and avid photographer Kim Hinkle on a slow-pace field trip for the photographer. We'll seek out, identify, and "snap away" at resident amphibians, dragonflies, butterflies, wildflowers, birds, and other wildlife. Pick up special tips on finding your subjects and learn the natural history of the plants and animals you're capturing on film.
