Reflections of Nature Quilt Show

Experience nature through the fiber arts at the “Reflections of Nature” Quilt Show. Quilters and art lovers will enjoy the craftsmanship and vision that the participants in the juried quilt show put into their quilts.
This weekend-long event features a juried show of a variety of nature-themed quilts and wall hangings on display, quilting demonstrations from local quilt guilds, quilting talks/presentations, other types of fiber artists, and more.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three quilts in each category: large, medium and small quilts. Additional prizes will be awarded to best of show, viewer’s choice, judge’s choice, best hand quilted, and honorable mentions. The best of show winning entry will be awarded a sewing machine courtesy of Abigayle’s Quiltery.
EarthWords Nature Lover’s Quilt Block
If time is at a premium and you don’t have the time or patience to make a large quilt, enter a small to medium wall hanging made with a Nature Lover’s Quilt Block pattern from EarthWords. Included with the pattern is a fabric photo and nature quote that must be incorporated in the finished entry. Let your creative juices flow and choose your own fabrics to compliment the fabric photo, optionally embellish it with beads, sequins, decorative thread, or other materials, and hand or machine quilt it to enhance the design.

Rocky River Nature Center is located at 24000 Valley Parkway, between Cedar Point Road and Shepard Lane in North Olmsted – just off the I-480/Clague Road exit (westbound) and I-480/Columbia Road exit (eastbound).
