Beach-goers can enjoy an evening of fun and sun at the “Summer Beach Party.” 

5 to 8 p.m.       Families can enjoy a variety of games and activities including: t-shirt relays, shake-n-bake contest, scavenger hunt, beach blanket bingo, “Simon” says, limbo contest, and water balloon contest.  Day-of registration only to participate in the games, and space is limited in each.  Prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Also, there will be activities from 5 to 8 p.m. including: sand sculptor Suzanne Altamare, a sand castle-building area for visitors to try their hand at it, king of the beach volleyball, a fishing demonstration area with Cleveland Metroparks staff, a kayak demonstration area with 41ºNorth Coastal Kayak Adventures, dive team exhibiting with Cleveland Metroparks Rangers, and more!

8 p.m. – Bonfire and entertainment with Musical Mark begins

8:45 p.m. – have your beach blankets and beach chairs ready for the 1988 movie on the beach - “The Great Outdoors.”

Movie Synopsis: Chet is a father and husband who believes in spending quality time with his loved ones. When vacation rolls around, he gathers his gang together and they head for the hills. But as soon as the crew gets comfortable in their cabin, Chet's annoyingly bad-mannered brother-in-law Roman shows up with his spoiled wife and kids for a week-long visit. To make matters worse, Roman brings more than his family -- he brings Murphy's Law with him, as he turns the week into a succession of disasters.
