Brecksville Reservation
Camp Brecksville - CLOSED
Hey kids! Join naturalists as we explore Brecksville Reservation in search of the many plants and animals that call this reservation home. We will spend three days in the forest, creek and prairie. Plan for hiking, crafts, games and fun!

Brookside Reservation
Brookside Nature Explorers
Come on a three-day adventure through the forest, fields, wetlands, and creeks of Brookside Reservation. We will investigate the P.A.R.T.S. (plants, animals, rocks, trash, soils) of each ecosystem that we explore. Join the excitement of traveling over the land, testing the wind and getting our feet wet in the water.

Are you a “wild thing”? Come join us at Camp Garfield for a “wild things” great adventure. We will travel through the forests, the waters, and under the night sky in search of where the wild things are. Camp Garfield will finish up with an evening “wild rumpus” celebration!

Mill Stream Run Reservation
Camp Mill Stream - CLOSED
A habitat a day keeps the doctor away. Join Brecksville Nature Center staff as we explore the forest, meadow and river. We will spend time turning rocks, rolling logs and hunting for predators in the meadow.

Nature-N-Art Camp - CLOSED
Creative expression is a wonderful way for campers to enhance their sense of awareness in nature. Children will spend the week exploring the habitats and animals of North Chagrin Reservation with daily activities, games and crafts.

Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation
CanalWay Nature Explorers - CLOSED
Get ready for three fun-filled days of exploration at the Ohio & Erie Canal Reservation. We will play games and activities that are based around the local wildlife. We’ll track deer, watch for birds, pond net for turtles and frogs and search the fields for insects.

Chipmunk Camp
This 3-day camp at Look About Lodge will lead young children to nature discovery through exploration of special places, play, games, crafts and more! The final day of camp will include a field trip to The Cleveland Botanical Gardens.

Creatures Great and Small - CLOSED
This 3-day camp at Look About Lodge will thrill young nature-lovers with exploration, hiking, games and more! Our focus on the great and small life around us will lead us to the final day of camp, which includes a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Fins, Feathers and Fur - CLOSED
This 3-day camp at Look About Lodge will be fun for nature-lovers as we explore the finned, feathered and furred life of the world around us. We’ll search for life in the park with hiking and fun in South Chagrin. We will then head out to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History for the final day of camp.

Where the Water Goes
During this 3-day camp, we’ll follow rain drops from their fall onto the land, to streams, rivers, ponds and finally to Lake Erie. On Thursday, our path of fun discovery will lead us to Fairport Harbor Beach.

Art Camp
Kids who love nature and who love to draw will enjoy this 3-day camp that combines outdoor adventure and artistic expression. On Thursday, we’ll head off for a sketching safari field trip at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Camper’s artwork will be displayed at Look About Lodge during an Art Show and family reception on the evening of July 23rd. Public viewing will take place the following weekend.

Night Camp
Older kids who love nature will find this 3-day night camp stellar! We’ll explore the land, life and sky around us as evening transitions into night through hiking, exploration and fun! On Wednesday, we’ll discover night during the day with a field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History planetarium.

Junior Golf Day Camp
(Ages 8 - 17)
Registration begins immediately. This five-day camp for young golfers will include instruction, etiquette, rules, playing and on-course experiences. Juniors should bring a packed lunch. Extended care is available for children arriving at 8 a.m. and staying until 5 p.m. A fee of $25 covers extended care for the entire week. There are no scholarship available for Junior Golf Day Camp.
