Sledding
Cleveland Metroparks has a number
of hills for sledding enthusiasts to enjoy. Please use the sledding hills with caution and with proper equipment and only when proper weather/snow conditions exist. The following are designated sledding areas:

Brecksville Reservation
Sleepy Hollow Golf Course fairways, designated areas only (closes March 1)
Euclid Creek Reservation

Cross-County Skiing
Cleveland Metroparks hiking and all purpose trails (not plowed) can be used by cross-country skiers.
The bridle trails should not be used and are not recommended for cross-country skiing.
Skiiing is permitted only on the following golf courses and if there is a four-inch base of snow:
Bedford Reservation
Shawnee Hills Golf Course
Brecksville Reservation
Sleepy Hollow Golf Course
Rocky River Reservation
Big Met Golf Course
Little Met Golf Course
Mastick Woods
Skiiers are asked not to ski on the tees or greens and to stay on the fairways and rough areas of the designated golf courses.
Skiers are reminded to practice these common sense rules:
- before skiing, check equipment for cracks or other faults that could weaken skis, poles or boots
- ski within ability and skill, in terms of distance and speed
- ski on the right side of trail and pass other skiers with caution
- keep poles close to body
- downhill skiers always have the right of way
- please step off the track or leave the trail when stopping or if it is busy
- obey all Park District regulations and trail markings
