Rocky River Reservation - Valley View Sewer Project 6/23/11
The project is located adjacent to the Lakewood WWTP and Dog Park at the north end of Rocky River Reservation and will include the area from the south side of the Parkway bridge over Rocky River (1st one north of Detroit Ave.) to a point approximately 400 feet south. A single lane of the Parkway will remain open throughout, but will be restricted to signalized one-way traffic each way (3 minute delay).  During off-work hours and weekends the Parkway will be re-opened to unrestricted two-way traffic. The APT will remain closed throughout. The project will start mid July with completion by late fall.

Big Creek Reservation - closure to begin Monday, 6/16/11
Big Creek Parkway from Snow to Stumph in Parma Heights will be closed intermittently between 7am and 4pm tor epair the parkway.

Mill Stream Run Reservation - West Bridge Street, 9/12/11
Parkway will be closed in the area under the bridge from 9/12/11 to 11/17/11 for utility bridge construction and from  3/5/12 to 6/21/12 for the bridge replacement. The Parkway and APT detour is Bagley to Mulberry to Henry to Prospect to South Quarry Lane.

West Creek Reservation Park Improvements - Update No. 1

West Creek Reservation was closed Friday April 8 for the long anticipated construction of improvements to West Creek Reservation including the Watershed Center, maintenance facility, reserved picnic area with flush restrooms, new entry drive, all purpose trail and nature trails. Construction began last week with the installation of orange fence along the project’s “construction limits” an area of active building that is closed to the public. Clearing operations began April 11 and will be followed by the pad preparation activities for both the Watershed Center and the management facility. The north entrance to the reservation off Ridgewood drive is closed at this time but Parma’s Center Park (on Park Drive off of State Road/ Route 94) provides visitor access to the southern portion of West Creek Reservation. Completion of construction is set for fall 2012.

Rocky River Reservation- Hogsback Lane - 4/8/11
Hogsback Lane is closed to traffic excluding bikes and pedestrians until further notice. Hogsback Lane is open to all traffic from Valley Parkway to Stinchcomb Lane.
