Park Pathways Intern Partnership (PPIP) Mentors
Are you a good role model? Do you want to help young students achieve success? Become a PPIP O.W.L.S. Mentor! Mentors work with high school students from Washington Park Horticulture Center through an intern partnership program with Cleveland Metroparks and Cleveland Municipal School District.
During the summer, June through August, mentor volunteers (45 years of age and older) will be paired with a PPIP student and will meet with students bi-weekly for an hour at the students' Cleveland Metroparks worksite. During this time, mentors will assist students in developing job relationships, addressing job responsibilities and exploring career options. PPIP Mentor volunteers must attend a training class and a background check is required. |
